Fastracs is a small
sized, heavy construction company capable of multi-faceted projects
including earthwork, roadwork, stream restorations, athletic facility
construction, water mains, gravity and force sewer systems, natural gas
distribution mains and conduit duct banks.

Beacon Bicycle
Path, Beacon, NY - Construction of a 5,000 foot-long bicycle and
walking path along the east bank of the Hudson River between the Metro North
Beacon train station and Denning’s Point State Park. Included the first
local use of NaturalPAVE surfacing, a non-petroleum based alternative to asphalt
pavement.
Trinity–Pawling School West Side Athletic Fields, Pawling, NY
- Construction of an all-weather acrylic surface
track and field facility, as well as varsity baseball and football fields, an
outdoor basketball court, irrigation systems, access drives and parking lots.
Project included public utility relocations, mass earthwork, drainage systems,
asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks and curbs, guide rails, irrigation piping,
electrical ducts, gravity sewer piping and manholes, hydro seeding and sod

Watchtower BMP, Patterson, NY - Creation of an artificial wetland as part of a
NYC DEP pilot program to monitor natural methods of surface water quality
improvements. Includes mass earthwork, stream diversion and dewatering,
geosynthetic clay liner, drainage structures, wetland plantings, landscaping and
fencing.
Chimney Road, Saugerties, NY –
Installation of 770 linear feet of 8” ductile iron water main with service taps, 820
linear feet of 8” SDR35 gravity sewer with 6 manhole structures, 1,000
linear feet of force
sewer, with 2 Environment One grinder pump systems.
Allison Drive & Dykeman Street,
Pawling, NY – Installation of 1,100 linear feet of 6” ductile iron water main with
service taps, 500 linear feet of 8” SDR35 gravity sewer with 3 manhole structures,
600 linear feet of force sewer with 7 Environment One grinder pump systems, stream
crossings for water and force sewer, stream diversion and dewatering, precast concrete box culvert, roadway grading and guiderails.
Big Hollow Stream Restoration,
Maplecrest, NY
– Realignment and restoration of a natural stream channel,
based on natural channel design principles. Includes diversion and
dewatering, building rock structures for energy control, earthwork, hydroseeding and live plantings.
Leon McGlashin Bridge, Maplecrest, NY – Construction of a precast concrete box beam bridge over the Batavia Kill. Includes structural
sheet piling, structural concrete, precast concrete box beams, approach
roadways and guide rails.
Central Hudson Gas & Electric
Corp. – Site work and below grade construction for electrical substations in
Rock Tavern, High Falls, Catskill, Westerlo, Poughkeepsie, East Fishkill and
Wappinger. Includes clearing, earthwork, rock excavation, concrete
foundations and structures, conduits and electrical manholes, cable trench,

Central Hudson Gas & Electric
Corp. – Replacement and upgrades to existing facilities and installation of
new gas mains at various locations, including Catskill, Kingston, Newburgh, Fishkill and
Poughkeepsie. Includes trenching, plastic fusion piping, prefabricated
steel piping, assisting utility crews with tie-ins, asphalt paving, concrete
sidewalks and curbs, traffic control.
Wilderstein Preservation,
Rhinebeck, NY
– Various drainage system installations, parking area and
pathway construction and maintenance including and ADA compliant access ramp.
Greenport Town Park, Greenport, NY – Complete
construction of a new municipal recreation park. Includes clearing, mass
earthwork, drainage systems, roadway and parking areas, water and sewer
mains, enclosed pavilion structure, basketball court, baseball and soccer
fields, playground structure, irrigation systems, fencing, utility URD
installation, hydro seeding and landscaping.
